WE ARE LOOKING FOR THE VERY BEST THAT SWISS PHOTOGRAPHY HAS TO OFFER!
For the fifth time, PHOTOVILLE4600 offers insight into the pulse of contemporary Swiss photography. Until June 7, works can be submitted in six different categories for a chance to be selected by a distinguished international jury and to win the IPFO SWISS PHOTO AWARD, endowed with CHF 3,000. The selected works of around 54 photographers will be exhibited at HAUS DER FOTOGRAFIE from August 21 to September 27, 2026.
A total of CHF 15,000 in prize money will be awarded at PHOTOVILLE4600, generously provided by the Hans and Beatrice Maurer-Billeter Foundation. From all submissions, the jury will award the highest-rated work with the IPFO SWISS PHOTO AWARD. In addition, one winner per category will receive a prize of CHF 1,500. Photographers up to and including the age of 30 also have the opportunity to win a Nachwuchspreis (emerging talent award) in their category, endowed with CHF 500. In addition, thanks to the Hans and Beatrice Maurer-Billeter Foundation, selected participants receive a contribution of CHF 100.– towards the exhibition fee as well as CHF 200.– towards production costs.
For submissions to PHOTOVILLE4600, we charge an entry fee and—if selected—an exhibition fee. This enables us to maintain the quality of our selection process and ensure professional curation.
