  • The jury panel is not yet complete and will be announced over the coming weeks.

    • NATURE | This category brings together areas such as landscape, nature, and animals in their natural environment.

    • REPORTAGE + STORYTELLING | This includes documentary photography and photojournalism.

    • PORTRAIT | We are looking for portraits of people. It does not matter whether they were taken in a studio or outdoors.

    • OPEN | This includes photography from the fields of architecture, artistic and conceptual photography, food, fine art, etc.

    • STREET | The spontaneous capturing of everyday scenes and human moments in public spaces.

    • KI | Images that are generated or significantly edited using artificial intelligence.

  • You can assign each image you upload to a category.

    REGULAR:
    1–2 images: CHF 30.–
    3–4 images: CHF 40.–
    5–6 images: CHF 60.–

    UP TO 30 YEARS OLD:
    1–2 images: CHF 25.–
    3–4 images: CHF 35.–
    5–6 images: CHF 50.–

  • Per registration, you can upload up to 6 single images or a series of up to 6 images*.

    You may submit additional registrations at any time. The corresponding fees can be found under “SUBMISSION FEES”.

    *In the REPORTAGE | STORYTELLING category, we recommend submitting a series of 4–6 images.

  • In the event of selection by the jury, the curation will be carried out by us. This ensures the best possible presentation of your work at HAUS DER FOTOGRAFIE.

  • The exhibition contribution in the event of selection amounts to CHF 100.–. For participants up to the age of 30, no exhibition contribution is charged.

    The contribution includes:

    • Organisation/communication

    • Jury selection and curation

    • Setup and dismantling of the exhibition

    • Exhibition supervision

    • Advertising and PR

    • Handling of artwork sales, if desired

    • Vernissage (opening event)

    You are responsible for the production costs of your images; however, ownership remains with you. PHOTOVILLE4600 operates like a gallery – you may therefore also offer your works for sale via our platform.

    The quality of the exhibition is important to us, which is why we only accept works that meet a defined standard. The printing of the photographs must be done through our partner Printolino.ch, at a special discounted rate of 10% exclusively for PHOTOVILLE4600. In the event of selection, participants up to the age of 30 will receive a CHF 200.– contribution toward production costs.

  • The Hans and Beatrice Maurer-Billeter Foundation* is the sponsor of the PHOTOVILLE4600 awards and enables prize money totalling CHF 15,000.

    EMERGING TALENT AWARD (UP TO 30 YEARS) | CHF 500.–

    The award ceremony and vernissage will take place on August 20, 2026. Participation is limited to selected photographers, as well as invited guests with registration.

    *The Hans and Beatrice Maurer-Billeter Foundation was established in 2007 by Beatrice Maurer, who, together with her husband, managed “Hans Maurer AG” in Däniken. The foundation’s purpose is to promote culture, science, and humanity.

  • You will be invited to a networking event with an apéro (date to be announced) – even if your work is not selected by the jury.

  • PHOTOVILLE4600 not only showcases the pulse of contemporary Swiss photography, but also provides opportunities for exchange and networking. All photographers who submit their work to PHOTOVILLE4600 are invited to a networking event. The date will be announced at a later stage.
