On the Yamal Peninsula, I had the opportunity to live with a Nenets family for two weeks and experience their daily life at –30 °C. The trust we built and our shared experiences gave rise to authentic images of this Arctic way of life.

(EN) ‘So isch es – c’est comme ça – è così.’ challenges the traditional image of Switzerland and reveals the reality beyond the picture-postcard idyll. As part of a long-term project, I am travelling to all 4,062 localities in Switzerland and documenting what the country actually looks like today.
